Zurich is our hometown and where in Zurich are you most likely to find a band member of PHONOFLaKES every once in while? Hafenkneipe - aight! We love this place and its staff, so we really wanted to celebrate our “homecoming party” at this legendary music venue after our Mexico Tour.

Sad but true, this was the very last show on our tour in México in 2012. And uhm, yes, it was a dark one, both physically and musically. Dark light, dark music, fuck yeah! We played amongst Traktor México and the Great Papaya and it was so much fun playing a venue amongst the real bad boys :-) This wasn’t only a sunday of rock, this was fuckin’ ROCK-SUNDAY!

With a bang at 11:00 a.m. sharp PHONOFLaKES relieved the students of the Prepa Tec out of their exams.
Even the students who messed up their tests cheered up while we rocked the stage in the morning sun. Our free give-away’s were literally ripped out of our hands :-)

Our lovely day off in Acapulco is over, lets get back from beach to business!
Today we headed to Guadalajara for a day packed with media appointments in order to promote tomorrow’s show at Lugar Secreto. We had to leave our homebase in Cuernavaca at 4am - yes AM…, since Guadalajara is an 8 hours drive.

After a fantastic gig at Mexico City’s El Chopo we headed towards our 2nd show of the day in Cuernavaca - our homebase in Mexico. Yay, we played the famous “Tianguis Cultural del Chopo” in Mexico City! The crowd was crazy.. This place really is rocker’s paradise!
What a pity we couldn’t stay any longer, ‘cause we have to head towards Cuernavaca to play our evening show at Foro THE PIT.
Luckily WE’LL BE BACK AT THE CHOPO ON MARCH 3rd, so be there or be square!
